Print making; Victorian Fashion Zine
The brief for this project was to create a piece for an art subject in history. So I decided to focus on Victorian fashion, for which I made a zine.
I lino print and solar plate etching on a pair of Victorian slippers. The lino had a quirkiness about it which I loved.
I was considering layouts for my zine, and loved the look of Victorian fashion ads and the busyness of the pages.
For each page of my zine, I used Victorian clothing as visual references for my designs. This maintained a historical accuracy.
